This application is a PocketPC XviD video encoder that makes optimization for PocketPC settings (format and size) very easy. With PPCEncoder you can encode and optimize your movies for the size of your PocketPC screen and memory card.
Just drag and drop your media files onto the screen and press play. Put it on your SD Card and view with your favorite divxviewer (e.g. TCPMP/betaplayer).
The aim of the PPCEncoder is ease of use. A very pragmatic approach.
At this time it always encodes to XviD but it can encode just about any video format to this form with some luck. Yes, even *.bin files (svcd) or *.iso if it contains a movie. It takes the default language of the dvd. There can be a problem if the iso contains a repeating menu. Just try it out. For most encoding to PocktPC this tool will be all you (or I) need.
It can also convert iPod movies (*.mp4) to XviD for your PocketPC.
